Welcome to Season 12!
Welcome to SoCal’s Rising Stars Season 12! Rising Stars annual competition and musical performances was created to inspire passion and encourage greatness. Rising Stars has the respect and admiration from surrounding communities, other non-profits, the business community and youth who wish to aim high and expect greatness for their futures. Rising Stars gives our youth the opportunity to do what they have a passion for – to sing and perform. My vision is to empower future generations of talented children ages 10 to 18 in their quest for artistic fulfillment.
SoCal’s Rising Stars is a collaborative project with a Production Team made up of business leaders, energetic professionals, media entertainment producers, community leaders and dedicated people from the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County, Rotary Club of Old Town Temecula, and in association with Omni Entertainment. All of the people on my production team along with the many volunteers provide their talents and resources to help make Rising Stars an extraordinary experience for our participants, their families, our supporters and audiences. The proceeds from Rising Stars will benefit the children and families served by the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County.
Our Finals show will once again be televised. Our broadcast partner will be PBS . I am very excited about the opportunity to partner with PBS and look forward to enhancing our broadcast capabilities and outreach.
Our first round of auditions will be held in late June. Approximately 40 kids will be selected to perform in our semi- finals show on August 2nd. Last year we held our Finals show in the beautiful showroom / theater at the Pechanga and once again we hope to hold it there in September 8th.
